I'm really excited about getting a Suzuki Van Van as a first bike. It's adorable and retro-ish. I've searched around and finally found one nearby and it's perfect!!! I've contacted the seller hoping he hasn't sold it yet!!!

Just thought I'd share and ask about what people think about Van Vans Very Happy Any feedback on this bike would be uber helpful! Very Happy

I rode one on L plates, really good fun to ride.

They aren't very fast but it shifted me around well enough ( a bit of a fat bastard), the big fat rear tyre was pretty confidence inspiring and as 125's go it does look/sound pretty decent.

If I had to get a 125 it would be a van van or TW125.

I rode one for my lessons and tests. Nice bike to ride, the speed was okay on it but it was the second bike i ever rode and the first was a GN125 Smile Got 70 out of it down a hill but i reckon it will cruise 55-60 easy on a dual carriageway.

Have fun Thumbs Up

The seller hasn't got back to me yet :/ And he's taken it down two hours after I e-mailed him. I'm not sure what happened, but with my luck it's already been sold! D: I'm looking at a Honda CG or a Honda CBF. What are your thoughts on that?

Both are regarded very highly for learning - depends on condition of course

The CBF and the CG are stated to be in very good condition and low mileage. Already contacted both sellers. I wish some of them reply, even if it's bad news. I'd like to know, ya know? BEH! I really wanted that VanVan as well.
