morning of the mot and it starts doing this what a bastard

any know what to check , im guessing im going to have to clean the carb again ? its a bit suspicious how it happened because the only thing that has happened to the bike is i shook it around a bit to get a nut out that dropped into the bodywork ?

Maybe float stuck not shuting fuel off .mine got stuck over day I run it with tap off so run out of fuel then switched back on fine .also try taping gently float chamber with back of screw driver

Mine did this the other day, while riding :/

Tapped it with a screwdriver and it free'ed off and stopped dripping expensive petrol all over the road.

A quick tap is the first thing to try. I f it's a recurring problem, fit an inline filter to keep rust or other debris from the tank from getting on the float needle.
