Passed the theory this morning, 48 out of 50. Very Happy

So can look forward to doing the CBT a second time tomorrow and see what dates are available for training before Mod 1..

Can anyone tell me? Can I do my training and Mod tests on my Z750? Would it have to be restricted or have L plates stuck on it for this purpose? Considering doing it but just wondering if I stand a better chance on the centre bikes tbh!! Laughing

Congratulations on the theory test pass

Technically you could do you're DAS training on the Z750, it wouldn't need to be restricted etc.. But you would need L plates.

But you would need to be accompanied by a DAS certified instructor & in radio contact.. So you may have issues getting the bike to the training centre (unless you can trailer it or get the DAS instructor to come and "pick you up")

You'd also need to have the bike insured for a provisional licence holder.

For me it worked out cheaper & less hassle to just use the training centre bikes, but it is possible to use your own

I would absolutely use the training schools bike. No question. It's too much bother to use your own, and if anything happened, why should your pride and joy get dented? Besides, the use of the schools bike is included in your course fee, so why give them a freebie?
Keep yours in the garage, looking at you longingly for you to pass your tests. That's what I did with my Versys, and it was well worth it. Your own bike feels so much nicer than the training bike that it's an extra pleasure when you get your A class license.
Good luck with it - go where you look and don't forget to cancel indicators and do your ob's.
Mark.
