I know that some ''prestige'' manufacturers charge silly money for their bits and pieces but I reckon that charging six grand for a few bits of wire is really taking thepiss:-

Not only is visordown full of shit, it's not like prince of the inbreds gives a toss about what happens to tax payers money.

The work is probably a fictional fiddle to chuck some "free" cash the dealership owner's way.

Shouldn't a company like ducati or top end bike manufacturer put more protection into their wires, may be only me that can imagine they would get more cash for optional extras such as stronger casing for the wires.

If you want a bike that weighs as much as a tank you might manage it.

Years ago a mouse got into my fathers car and ate the handle of a screw driver that was in there.

Hi

Possible (could do it with braided steel), but you are still going to need to do anything that a mouse might feel like having as a snack. Wiring (including little single wires to the brake light switches, etc), fuel lines, rubber seals around lights, etc. Possibly even the petrol tank if the buggers are really hungry.

Now now. He doesn't get to invoice it to us. He has to find £6k out of the money we've already given him. And continue to give him. Any idea how many swans he's going to have to not eat as a result of this?
