Is this false advertising?

I went into Tesco to look at there phones as I'd just dropped and fekked the screen on mines earlier today... Saw a white phone what suppored 3.5mm audio jack for my headphones, and Micro SD card for £35 or there abouts.

White Display model, Went up to the counter, White display model on the box too.

Got it home, and looked, it's bloody bright pink.


Does say on the side "Colour : Pink" on the barcode label thing with all the phone details, but that's not what was Displayed on the shelves and on the box....
Receipt says PINK too now that I looked at it...

is it too late to return? LOL

Take it back with the receipt. Unless, really, you want a pink phone and you want to be told it's ok to have one.

You know, Honestly I don't care that it is pink, It's a bit embrasassing, but honestly who cares?

It's a MP3 player with texting capabilities, all I need.

not sure what the returns policy is with Tesco, but you might be able to swap it.... or if it's a good phone that you are happy with... try finding a cover for it on ebay.... should be pennies

Either that or get used to pink and if anyone mentions about it... puff yerself up drop your voice several ocatves and call it 'manly pink' then knock the other person out

You can probably get a case for it / new covers / paint the current case.

We used to do this with the Tocco Lite (Samsung) all the time.

The boxes are all standard, and have one colour on the front. But its the barcode sticker that states the colour.

The amount of times I was half asleep and picked up a pink one by mistake.

Just pop in, and explain you wanted the white one. Most likely they stock them but just picked up the wrong one.

I've a pink PSP and I bought it knowing it was pink.

It was £99 at duty free instead of the usual £150 for a black one in the shops.

It does look a bit camp, but I don't care.

Tbh don't worry about it. You'll never easily miss place it and it won't get stolen.
