Hello. I am thinking of getting a full arrow exhaust system for my bike @£240. problem is they dont come with instructions or guides. I would not have a clue on how to install it, though I would try. I have a NSR125R 2001 black/silver with faulty indicator. I contacted the guy at the other end, and he said I will need new hangers, and that I will need to rejet the bike? What is re-jetting, is it fairly easy to do, how do you do it? Also, if I got somebody else to install it, how much are we talking? Oh, nearly forgot, should I derestrict my bike and install the full system, or leave it restricted? |

£240!? That's a little expensive, isn't it?...Stan Stephens sell 'em for £205, and I'm sure that you can find em even cheaper if you shop around... ____________________ TiN

Its still a lot cheaper than I payed for my arrows system here.(Norway) It wasn't difficult to fit really.Just remove lower fairings, take of the original and place the new one.Just make sure the clamp and fixing point at the back is tight or else it will crack because of the vibration. I think mine came with some kind of instruction in English?!? I will take a look when I get home, and if I find it maybe write it down and mail it.
I wouldn't know to much about th re jetting though.I adjusted the mixture a little richer and kept an eye on the spark occasionally. Ran the first 2000km with original exhaust, and the last 2800km with Arrows and it's still running like a clock.(A rather noisy one but... ) |
