I have one and my Girlfriend and I sleep wonderfully on it, maybe it is because they exist. Thumbs Up

How, curiously?

I've had sprung and memory mattresses and neither have brought back any of my back trouble from crashing.

Then again, my injuries haven't been to Denmark and back so I'm unable to stipulate whether these would be contributing factors Thumbs Up

No idea about memory foam mattresses. But I fall asleep lightning quick in the misses bed. I practically collapse.

Memory foam mattress ftw, you're maybe-real-maybe-not girlfriend obviously has a crap one.

Cheap ones aren't that good, better paying the same for a better spring or pocket spring one. A good memory foam mattress can't be beaten though, and nor can memory foam pillows

I just bought my old man one and it was that good I even bought myself and the mrs one. I've never had such a good sleep. I'm getting more sleep time in. Didn't think it could make a difference. But it's amazing.
They are silent night full memory foam ones and were on a good deal.

I've had 2 now, my latest one is electrically adjustable Cool

Had no problems what so ever. I get a much better nights sleep on one.

Are you sure that it isn't because your misses is so fat that your actually sleeping on her without noticing?

It's memory foam all the way from one side to the other Wink

*Full* memory foam mattresses are (so I've been told) awesome for sleeping, useless for anything else if you get my drift, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, swit-swoo, hubba-hubba, etc...

That one

Quote:
Mattress depth - 20cm including a 3cm layer of memory foam

Full memory-foam matttresses (like Tempur ones) are 4 figures, not 3.

(FWIW we have a 5cm memory-foam topper on a pocket-sprung mattress - it's all you need - as I said above - too much memory foam has its *ahem* problems)

Maybe the matress just wants to forget you... doesn't like the thought of remembering anything about you Razz

I have to say I've slept on one a couple of times and it wasn't very comfortable (and yes it was an expensive one), but then I do fidget a lot in my sleep (with or without Jill Razz).

Not sure who mentioned it, but I fall asleep almost instantly too, although to be fair I think my body just begins to shut down almost instantly which puts me to sleep. The times I've been in hospital I have to warn them to turn the heart monitor alarms down to about 40bpm.... they never do and there's nothing worse than just dozing off then you have half a dozen nurses poking and prodding you.... Mind you I have tried to see how low I could get my heart rate... got it down to 36 once Very Happy (ah the long boring days and nights in hospital)
