Do it.
Perhaps choose the circuit wisely though, Jay did Cadwell at 33bhp and it wasn't an issue cos it's all corners and not a whole lot of straight.
I imagine Snetterton at 33bhp might be a bit disheartening on the straights, but even so, you're not racing people, you're riding your bike as hard as you can. So just do it anyway. |

depends on how twisty the track is!! however a 33bhp restricted bike should reach 60 in 6 secs, and 100mph(ish)!! So as long as you can corner well you should be alright!! See if youm can do one on the ped!! |

Ah it seems that it wouldn't be too much of a problem, I might even do my first trackday next year!
I'm not sure which track is closest to me, I'm guessing Castle Coombe.

Wherabouts in Somerset are you?
Combe will probably be your closest track, followed by Thruxton - maybe not a great idea on a 33bhp bike - And, at a push, Pembrey.
After that, it's a blast up the M5 and M43 to Donington, or across to Silverstone. Alternatively, go right across the M4 and the bottom of the M25 for Brands Hatch. Long way to go those last two mind. ____________________ Colin McRae MBE 1968 - 2007 RIP

South Somerset, inbetween Yeovil and Taunton. I know where Thruxton is about 80ish mile away I reckon up on the A303.
I see that some people are going Cadwell soon, where is that? ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. For 2 years anyway
I can't see the point in having to be worrying about being caught speeding and then getting done for not having a proper restriction on either. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. 300 Miles!
Looks like I'll have to delve into the South West usergroup area next year sometime and see if anybody wants to do Castle Coombe or something.
I don't want to go by myself either, I will be really nervous so it would be nice to have some guidance. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
