Has anybody got any of these? Im interested in any size comparisons with other makes. Ive tried Arlen Ness size UK44/EU54 and felt the arms to long. Alpineatars in the same size seem OK. RST felt to narrow across the shoulders. ANy advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What is it you are looking for, short or long in the arms?

FWIW I find that richa stuff is long limbed, furygan is shorter than the norm. I have not had any Bering leathers as yet but have had textile stuff in to review and the limb lengths seemed about normal.

Im short,5'7" with broad shoulders and 40/42" chest and rugby players thighs!!! The jackets that has come closest so far would be the Arlen Ness I tried in a UK44. The arms where a tad to long and because the leather was so thick it dug painfully into my wrist where the zip is. I wonder what the shoulders etc are like on Furygan? Really like tho look of their gear. Wish I was a 'normal' shape!

I am 5'11" and broad across the shoulders and rugby player thighs too, my issue is my arse and thighs usually thanks to being built like a tank when I was younger Smile

I found with Furygan leathers, the EU58 didnt fit, too snug all over though I managed to get my legs in well enough, if you are short they are definately worth a look in as my Crow jacket I had has now gone to a short rider and it fits him perfectly - I reviewed the crow on Bikechatter if you want to take a look.

Some kit can be a real bitch to get sizing right on, for the most part I find Europeans/French brands to be smaller sized than more international ones, Astars are actually pretty good for sizing but if you get an item to fit with long arms or legs the options usually are getting it altered to suit.

Held kit is incredible too. Well made and amazing price by comparison for quality. I have their slade suit and it easily compares to suits costing at least twice as much.

And the slade write up is here:

Titan gloves to go with?
https://bikechatter.net/gloves/1082-held-titan-race-gloves-review

Held are actually one of Germany's biggest brands, they were taken up in the UK pretty recently by comparison to most brands which is why they are building the name here, being led by the former MD of Hein Gericke should help though Smile

So far I have the Slade suit and Titan Gloves (drool), the slade suit has to be seen and worn to be appreciated fully and the titan gloves are designed and touted as the ultimate race gloves - pricey for most budgets though.

If you are near either Leeds or Leatherhead the GetGeared shops keep most of the range in to try on too.
