 |
|
Decided my bike is completley up the shit after daily use,
after selling my B1h and 2 other zxr400's i have enough to tart it up a little, its not going to be a complete rebuild. BUt heres a list of things:
1.Fork Refurb (fork seal's have leaked so much the oil is all over the wheel)
2.Chain Sprocket's (chains rusted to death and has a kink in)
3.New maxxis Tyres (tyres are squared rear has 2 repairs front has a few nials sticking around
4.have swing arm polished
5.refurb the all round brembo brake's + disc's
possible maybes:
1.refurb and set rear shock.
2.have seat's customized
3.new front mudgaurd
4.crashbungs
5.steering damper
6.Motogb rear set's
Reason for this is i have braught and sold several zxr400's latley and have no got a ton of spares including damper's and motogb rearset's so ill see if i want to sell them or just use them.
hoping ill get help from few people along the way and ill get a ton of photo's uploaded.
So here'swhere i start ...ordering part's
Fork oil seal's ordered for £5.45 after cradley kwak qouted me £12!!!
im about to order the green chain i want.
just not 100% if it will fit?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EK-Green-520-pitch-Motorcycle-and-motocross-chain-fits-KX-KXF-ZX6R-ZX10R-NEW-/180540068314?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2a0906d1da#ht_1472wt_1037&clk_rvr_id=325333100203
thats the one anyone know if it will?
already picked up some brand new JT sprockets for £20 but they sent me 2 sets gave the one set to a friend for £10 so new sprockets for just £10! bargin.
Photo's soon to come. |

I hope you dont have trouble pulling the forks apart.
I had to grind the outer to pull the stantion out as one of the bushes had slipped underneath the other.....
Luckily i had a spare set of forks in the garage |

bike owe's me 1.2k with all the things i done already, including new down pipes short lever's so ill never lose out |

This thread is an awful advertisement for your idiotic buy-sell idea.
The only sensible thing done was trying to sell your chinese nasty steering damper (that cost about $20 new from china). (see here) I hope those bidders realise it's a non-branded POS before it's too late.

£5 fork seals will be shitty pattern ones that last 5 minutes, but what do you care? The bike will be sold, but it's shoddy as hell. You get what you pay for with seals.
Also, displaying your complete lack of knowledge about something as simple as a chain... I will never consider buying anything from you, knowing that you've played with it. I would advise anyone else to do the same. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. Can I ask where you got the ''retails at £150'' from for the steering damper?? ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles.
