Just received a PM regarding the 3xv fairings I had for sale. It goes a little something like this:

'Hello

I am interested in buying the Yamaha TZR 250 3xv complete set of fairings that you have placed for sale, and I would want to know about the present condition, as well as some detail about you. I expect this timely enough.

As for the payment, I would need you to get back in touch with the last asking price then I get a Cheque or Bank Draft sent.

Would you please reply back to me at: automiles@ymail.com

I will be looking forward to hear from you soon.

Yours interestingly,
Raymond Griffith'

Do gullible people still fall for this shit? I mean, who ends a PM with 'Yours interestingly' for fuck sake Laughing Laughing Laughing

They would fair a lot better if they didn't insist on trying to use English in a way we English don't even use it. A simple "Hi mate, interested in the fairings, how much you want for them?" would suffice.

I'd have the boots for the missus (they'd proper suit her) if you weren't so far away. How much for postage?

I'll cover the postage in return for a PM with your address and a sob story or a picture of boobs. Not having a camera to take said picture would constitute a sob story. Wink
