Hi

Some advice on tyres please...

I've got a Tmec bike (Copy of XR125) and am looking for a replacemenet rear tyre. Its currently fitted with a 140 70 17 rear tyre which I'm sure is none standard but its a little too wide and I'd like to increase the gap between the tyre and the chain by a further 5mm or so.
Can anyone suggest an alternative tyre size I could use ?
Road tyre type only please, not a trials type tyre...

Will a 120 70 17 fit as there are loads of this size available on ebay ?

At a guess those 120/70-17 tyres on ebay are most likely front fitment. Also similar chinese bikes seem to be fitted with 130/70-17 tyres on the rear.
