This company and the people that work for it are the biggest bunch of twats I have ever heard of.

They keep ringing my house asking for my older brother. He has never lived here and I don't even know where the fuck they've got this information from.

They started ringing last Thursday and have rang every night since even though I have repeatedly told them he doesn't live here. Had a full on argument with one bint who was demanding to know who I was and I wouldn't tell her.

I rang their "customer service" number and some jumped up wanker gives me a load of abuse after telling him what was going on. He said he couldn't even remove the number from the system because he can't open the account from where he is.

Never heard such bullshit from a company before and they persist ringing. I've tried saying wrong number, doesn't live here, I will report you if you carry on, etc. They don't seem to give a fuck because they ring every night anyway. I know they're on speed dial an it's a different person each night but it's getting fucking repetitive now.

What to do?

Write to them, send it recorded delivery, threaten to report them to the Financial Ombudsman Service, and threaten legal proceedings under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

Threatening the FOS is normally enough for any financially based business to back down, they all seem to be shit scared of them.

Or wait, they'll give up after a few weeks.

If you don't like your brother - give them his number

If you do like your brother - keep a log of the time that they call and the person phoning. Contact your phone provider with these details and tell them that this is unsolicited nuisance calling and get the number blocked. If that doesn't work unplug your phone during the evenings and let friends/family know to call you on a mobile.

In my more reckless days, I had more important things to concern myself with than filling out their shitty forms saying I earned under less than £xxxx and photocopying payslips that I may or may not have had, scrunched up in an equally scrunched up envelope somewhere or maybe nowhere.

Point was, I got phoned up by some scotch CUNT who spoke to me like I was about to be arrested and thrown in a gulag for 45 years. They've never had a bean out of me and because I'm a creative sort, they never will.

The phone calls continue.

The funny thing is, my older brother is 34 and went to uni about 12 years ago and he's never paid them a penny back.

The other thing is, he has never lived here, in fact, he never left the South of England. How they've managed to track him down to here, I don't know. I asked my brother and he said he's not spoken to them in years and never given them my details so he doesn't know either (he genuinely hasn't he wouldn't be lying about it).

I have repeatedly told them that he has never lived here and will never be able to get hold of him via this phone number but they ring every night around 7pm to 8pm. Each time it's a different person (as they're on speed dial) and there seems to be absolutely no communictation between them in the company.

Their customer service number is a joke and the only advice was to tell the operator who rings to remove the number, which is difficult seeing as each time they ask, they want confirmation of who I'am before they can discuss the account. I won't give them my details because it's nothing to do with me.

What's even more shocking is the fact I told one on Thursday that he had died and was no longer with us. The next day, they fucking phoned again! Imagine if he had died, these cunts don't give a fuck and I would actually understand if it was me who had took the loan out and I had picked up the phone and said, "Yeah that's me" but they're just wasting their own time and mine.
