 |
|
ok peoples , now i have a reason for an aftermarket cylinder kit,
because i fitted my new exhaust with my mate, took it for a test drive and smashed the exaust manifold clean off the bottom
so , took my usual trip down to Laguna's talked to my usual assisstant, Bill, asked him how much for a new cylinder barrel,
his answer was that its gonna cost for a genuine suzuki part around 90 odd quid, and that trying to mate a worn in piston with a new barrel isn't easy,
so... he suggested that for my moneys worth i get a aftermarket 70cc cylinder kit.
now, my mate advised me that the most reliable cylinder kits are the NICAST BORE MHR REPLICA cylinder kit, now i was hoping somebody would know where to find a MHR REP NICAST BORE 70cc Cylinder kit for a SUZUKI KATANA AY50 lc!
any help greatly appreciated
thanks guys,
jim |

www.beedspeed.com also have them and other cheaper cylinder kits, the DR kits are very good cast iron cylinders if you need something cheaper and just as strong, although less powerful. |

Ok my bike will be going in for the 70cc upgrade at the end of this week, is there anything i should ask them, like what to do to keep it maintained ,??
also i have purchased a K&N Powerfilter, is this easy to fit?? im getting my carb upjetted and tuned, but wont be receiving the filter till a few days after , is it hard get the mixture right. i dont want to spend 30 odd quid for a 15 minute job, my mate ben has offered to tune it so it will work , but if it is a difficult job i mite take it 2 a garage 2 get it done..
any info greatly appreciated
