Anyone got one?
The reviews are excellent, and after finally talking myself out of Dropping a large sum of money on this...

I am pretty settled on a Qwest, but wanted to see what the owners thought. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.
Skudd:- Perhaps she just thinks you are a window licker and is being nice just in case she becomes another Jill Dando.
WANTED:- Fujinon (Fuji) M42 (Screw on) lenses, let me know if you have anything. |

After doing a fair chunk of research (I'm a proper review freak when Im looking to buy anything of value) and having tried on various helmets I went for a Qwest. I'm very happy with it, to the point that I also bought my gfriend one and also bought a Shoei crosser helmet.
They're very light, comfortable, quiet and are high quality.

You can get a ladies specific Qwest in the US but not in the UK for some reason.

It's a quiet helmet but I still wear ear plugs as well. ____________________ CRF450R supermoto, Husaberg 650 supermoto, Triumph Street Triple R |

I have one, it's quiet (even on an un-faired bike at glf speeds), it's very comfy - nice thick padding etc. feels well made and has pin lock. Can't think of anything more you'd need or to say about it other than I got mine from lids direct (instore) and it cost £270 with an extra free tinted visor and some cleaning kit & bag that will likely never get used! ____________________ current: ducati monster 750

Qwest is good Quiet, comfy, light - and much less of that feeling of having your head tugged off sideways during life-savers, I find. Possibly better aerodynamics? ____________________ - CBT: 02/01/11 Theory: 26/04/11 Mod 1: 19/05/11 Mod 2: 19/08/11

She tried on a medium Qwest which seemed to fit her, well, TBH anything will be better than the 15 year old Nolan she has ATM, still it has only been the Qwest she has tried on that fits as well as the Nolan! ____________________ Well, you know what they say. I've got a Qwest in plain white - at the time I didn't care about what I looked like and it's nice anyway to have something to contrast my all-black leathers, black bike, black gloves, black boots etc....
I'm wearing a large but I think I'm going to fit slightly larger cheekpads - the helmet tends to push back quite a bit at 70mph on my naked bike with no screen.
It is quieter than my other lid (X-lite 802), came with a pinlock insert and a draft excluder.
Nice piece of kit, and feels comfortable all day.
Yours even has a GREAT paint scheme! |

I find mine doesn't handle cold/wet misting issues quite as well my other lids - the "visor moves 2mm forward" rather than lifting slightly doesn't seem to work so well for me, especially when I've got my specs on instead of contacts. The first lifting notch is too far.
Apart from that, it's a nice lid  ____________________ Honda Varadero 125cc => Suzuki Bandit 650 33bhp => 77bhp =>

Just picked myself up a qwest (in matt black), now my ex-employer decided to settle
Not had a chance to go out in it, but it's actually lighter than my XR1000! Just need to find some velcro to stick in my scala's speakers now... ____________________ '11 CBF1000A, '99 C90, '98 CB500
