Moto 3 replica

I have recently purchased a Aprilia rs 125 2002 just for a cheap laugh, however, i want to put a 4-stroke engine into it to make it a sort of moto 3 rep. I cannot find a 250 engine from anything with the chain on the correct side. I think i am limited to a husaberg 450 motor. If there are any others i would be thankfull, also if anybody knows if the RS250 swing arm fits easily enough then that would be an option.

A few people have put the Rotax 650 lump in, more commonly found in BMW F650 Funduros/Aprilia Pegaso's or in fuel injected form the BMW F650GS.

Its a reliable lump, makes about 50bhp. Not the most exciting of power delivery, but my F650 had a loud can, k+n filter and the fuelling adjusted, which did improve things.

I can imagine a light bike like the RS would be good fun with a torquey
4t motor in it.
