exhaust cover - necessary?

Hi all!

I have set my mind into buying this 125cc bike: Yamaha WR125X

And as you can see, the exhaust points rather towards the sky, wich makes me wonder if the bike is parked outside and it rains, will there be a chance that rain enters the pipe?

And if so, is that a bad thing? (newbie, who's only bike experience is a replica Dax)
And if so, what can you do about it? cover the exhaust with something?
