they have also made a road legal version with indicators and everything, also the steat is adjustible, like a push bike, so when your doing tricks put it down, commuting put it up !

Come ON it has a YZ250F engine and only weighs 88kg !! :O

Looks like a good winter toy to me. I'd have one to commute save me dropping the Blade and when I got pissed of with the traffic I'd just go off road.

When I first saw these, I thought 'wow', but looking a bit deeper:

Looking at the specs, I don't see that it offers much over a mx bike. About 90 kg isn't much less than some mx bikes and that's with a carbon frame I think (and that's for the 'pro' version I think, rather than over 100 for the standard).

Having a 4 stroke 125 it won't have /that/ much go. Get a trials bike and upgear it a load, stick on a bigger front disc and higher seat and I reckon it'd not be cheaper but a load more fun.
In the same fashion I think the 250 class mx bikes only weigh just over 100kg as standard, and probably offer a load more.

If it had a 2stroke engine and 20kg less I'd be interested.

I /think/ they are already out in Japan. That video was around at this sort of time last year.

I was thinking about these, or a Xsport mini MX bike, any idea how much these trickers actually are going to be? I would guess stupidly expensive?

I don't see really how they offer much more over a trials bike? But they look fun anyway Cool

They look a lot smaller than a trials bike, and have those 360 rotateable handlebars?

Dimensions for the tricker:
Quote:
2022mm/800mm/1313mm

Dimensions for the yz250f which it nicks the engine from:
Quote:
Length: 2,165 mm
Width: 827 mm
Height: 1,303 mm

Most of that would probably be explained by the bigger wheels on the mx bike.
For the yz 250 2 stroke:
Quote:
Length: 2,182 mm
Width: 827 mm
Height: 1,302 mm

And that's with a 98kg weight as standard. It also has over 20NM more torque at peak torque! The YZ125 has similar peak power and torque to the tricker, but has a weight of 87kg!

I do like the idea, just the execution doesn't actually seem to offer much new (apart froma couple of very skilled stunt riders Smile ).

The TTR125 looks to be a better idea, probably cheaper too but not exactly cheap... 256 North use them a lot in there videos (probably the best videos around) Think the Xsport idea is still winning, you can make 12 bars for them, looks funny as fook Laughing

I could just use my lil GP100 2-stroker!
It's 98kgs too and thanks to the cable brakes and clutch I could simply use cheap BMX style 360degree handlebars... Laughing
