Its all pretty amazing stuff which I could never do in a million years.

On the other hand the floor looks sprung (cheating?) and most of it looks pretty clumsy and unintentional.

Whole point of it is to try and pull off impressive combos. Most of them come from taekwondo/martial arts backgrounds who learn to twist/cork and incorporate it into combos.
