That make ur legs and nads sweat like theres no tomorrow?

Reason I ask is because I have this set of "Lewis" textile trousers that im using on my DAS because I had them from my 125 days and there still in good nick, oh and there waterproof.

However with the thermal lining in, or just the plastic backed trouser (in this case its worse) my legs etc seem to do quite a bit of sweating and it can be uncomfortable feeling..

Is this the norm regardless of any trousers you where or would I be better looking at some decent Dainese pony leather trousers or some better textile ones? any ideas, I dont need waterproof as im a fair weather rider.. whats your recommendation?

It's the waterproofing that's making you feel sweaty as it stops the sweat going anywhere.

Can you zip out the waterproof lining? Most textile trousers will let you. If not, go buy some new ones with zippable linings; or just buy leather if you prefer... but that'll be a LOT more cash.

This is why things that use goretex are expensive, because goretex is apparently breathable.. A.k.a your balls sweat will be able to evaporate somewhere. Where as some cheaper waterproof material is more akin to having a plastic bag wrapped around you because it keeps the rain off Very Happy

I tend to use my Hein gericke taureg summer trousers all year round, nice and cool. If its raining, i just stick a pair of waterproof troosers over the top Very Happy done me well for years Thumbs Up

That's what I used to do, now I've splashed out on gore-tex trousers as I live in Wales, and if it was dry on the way in to work, it'll be raining on the way home.... got fed up with putting the WP overtrousers on and off. Not been summer yet tho, so don't know how good the breathability is yet!

My RST Pro Series are pretty cool with the lining out. Rode home from leicester last year (3 hours) on the hottest day of the year and was only mildly warm

Kevlar lined denims are much more breathable.
