Hi guys, I posted this tutorial/walkthrough on Banditforum for a member cause they needed help. I know it's very basic but that was what was required. Figured i'd just post it on here for anybody else who may fancy having a ganders. And it has already been discussed that my method of dislodging the emulsion tubes could be better i.e. unscrewing the main jet and knocking it and then removing it.

So, to start off, remove the front seat using your key. And pull off the 2 side sections of fairing, just below the tank. Careful not to snap the knobs!
Then remove the 2 10mm bolts holding down the tank (Fig 1), and pull the tank rearwards.
Lift the back of the tank up, look under the left hand side and see the pipes attached to the tap underneath (Fig 2). Pull them off, one way or another.
The tank can now be lifted off (Fig 3), and place it preferably on a news paper or cloth, just to save possible paint damage and the tap.
There are now 2 allen key bolts that hold the airbox down (Fig 4). Remove them.

Now using a phillips screwdriver (Should be!) undo the 4 clips that secure the airbox outlets to the carbs. The airbox should now wiggle off.

You can now see the carbs nice 'n' easy. 3 things you need to do now to get them off. Disconnect the choke cable, the throttle cable and then undo the 4 clips around the inlet rubbers.
Looking down on the top of the carbs, down the gap between the engine and the carbs, you will find where the choke cable attachs. Pull the outer cable back and pull the spring back the other way, and pull the inner cable out of the cut out in the "bit where it sits". Then manipulate the cable to line up with the gap in the actuating rail and wiggle out the end of the cable.

At the handle bar, undo the 2 phillips screws that hold on the switchgear and open it up, twist the grip forward and take the end of the cable out.

Pull the throttle cable through the frame back towards the carbs (It's still attached to the carbs remember) and you may have to cut some cable ties but oh well!
Like the air box, there are 4 clips that secure the carbs to the inlet rubbers, so undo these.

Now wiggle the carbs out. Dont tilt them too far forward or backward as they'll drip fuel out.
Now drain the petrol in the float bowls into a suitable container. Doesn't have to be clean as it's unlikely that you'll want to reuse the fuel that comes out.
This is the drain screw:

This is what you should have now:
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05775.jpg

At the top of the carb is the top cap. Undo the 2 phillips screws and pull the top cap off, revealing the spring and the top of the lifters.
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05779.jpg

You can now push the lifters out, which is easy enough. The jet needle will come out with it too. DONT BEND IT!
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05781.jpg

Just tip up the lifter and the jet needle with 2 plastic "washers" will fall out (Make sure its into your hand!). For when you put it back, the white one goes underneath the adjustment clip and the orange one goes on top.
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05784.jpg

This should be now what you can see:
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05785.jpg

Give it a good clean around the lifter seal seat and all inside the top there too.

Now on the bottom side, you have the float bowls, which are held down by 2 phillips screws.
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05776.jpg

The floats are sat in there, and are probably in your case just being held by the seals in their seats.
If you wiggle it a bit then it will pull off easy enough.
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05789.jpg

Now whip the main jet out with a flat head screwdriver.
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05791.jpg

You should have all of this:
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05792.jpg

Now to get the emulsifier tubes out, stick something that fits in the hole (I used a phillips screwdriver). Don't use anything that might severely damage the tube.
Give it a wee knock with a hammer and it should move through.
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05793.jpg
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05794.jpg

This is the emulsifier tube, which I cleaned by poking a bit of very thin wire through the holes. Also gave it a blow (No innuendo's please!). A bit of carb cleaner wouldn't go amiss either.
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05795.jpg

So, the underside of the carb should resemble something like this:
https://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg630/haroman6661/DSC05796.jpg

Make sure it's all clean and there's no bits of shite stuck in the jet or any key parts.

I also did a video walkthrough found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcE3h4Mats8&list=HL1334179193&feature=mh_lolz

To reassemble, obviously reverse what you did there... Some of the O-rings you may or may not need to replace. Inspect them for cracks and perishing... Mine are mostly fine so haven't touched them. Any qu's please ask Smile And I hope you can understand what I did.
