GZ125 Fork seals- Don't have a clue what I'm doing...

Evening all. I have a GZ125 (2002) and I'm having problems with the front forks. The forks bog down and seem to be way too cushy, there is also a light coating of what I presume to be fork oil that has leaked above the seals. I'm guessing they need changing but this is the first time I've done anything with the forks so I really don't know. Usually only do basic stuff like chain tension, valve adjustments and oil and filter changes so this is new to me. Any advice on what parts I need to buy and what I need to do with them would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Easier than valve adjustments

You basically need to separate the forks and put new oil and dust seals in, same way they came out.

Best bet would to be to look on youtube at someone doing normal forks, your's will essentially be the same

Ta very much. Just a quick question though, do I need to buy both oil and dust seals? I really don't have a clue what I'm doing lol. Eight months ago I had to take the bike to a garage because I didn't even know how to change the oil

You will need:-
1ltr Fork oil SAE 10
Dust seals
Fork Seals

Standard forks are easy,be careful when putting on new fork seal over the stanchions.
