NSL is fair game but 98 in a 30 limit? Are you fucking insane? That's proper riding like a cunt. Sad

Learn your lesson and keep the speed to where it belongs. You have been seriously lucky there being let off. Especially as you seem to earn a living buying and selling bikes, losing your license would kinda screw that up.

yeah i know it would totally have fucked my business.....

i was 100% in the wrong and a big thanks to the plod he was sound.

it is a 30 road (hagley road) but in my opinion it should be 40 its such a long road 4 lanes 30mph feels like rolling speed

as i said counting my chickens feel like i got off so lucky Thumbs Up

But it has buildings and pavements and people walking all over the place. It is 30 for a reason. Everyone else has to do it...

I get pulled for doing nothing wrong just cos my bike is loud, so count yourself lucky.

I usually pay little attention to speed limits but 98 in a 30 is a proper cunts game. Thumbs Down

Agreed. I have no idea how you still have a licence. Also you clearly don't check your mirrors enough if he was following you that far...

There's a time and a place for it dude.
A dual carriageway which is one of the main routes to the city centre is not the place for 98mph IMO.

We have a similar road in Liverpool, Edge Lane, that feeds from the M62. It's a 30 but I ride at 50 max on certain parts.

Wanna give it the beans? Jump on the motoway Thumbs Up

BCF's Number 1 wang.

Congratuwelldone.

TBF I got let off doing a fairly high speed on the m-way, buts thats a 70 road Laughing They downgraded our road from 30 to 20 because there are schools and alleyways galore, fuck doing 50 down them, let alone 98.

Mental cunt Laughing

I got 3 points for 36 in a 30, 2 lanes wide with no traffic, gone 10pm.

Fucking yellow box.

Edit: Actually as it goes I ended up with a speed awareness course tomorrow instead of the point, keeps slipping my mind, mustn't forget to go!!!

If you were barely making it through lights on amber, and filtering at speed, how in the hell did he follow you for so long? Thinking

If he did somehow manage to follow you doing these stupid moves, you're an even bigger idiot for not seeing him earlier.

Theres no way you'd got that picture if they'd been following you doing what you said, they would have been all over you like flies on shit after you stopped because of the chance of you legging it!

I have no doubt that on occasion what you said does happen but they werent behind you.

Nice story, whats your 2nd book about?

Hmmm have none of you ever done a ridiculous speed in a low speed zone? Sure I've done it, its quite easy to be going in to triple digits sometimes when you get carried away...

Very silly and even sillier is you where being followed, but lets face it, when I'm making "progress" I rarely look in my mirrors either.

Lets just hope you've learn't the error of your ways eh Wink.

i can believe it, i've heard a few storys about coppers letting bikes of for speeding, my brother has been stopped on his blade and they have told him to slow down a little and and get on his way but he has learnt his lesson.

https://www.metro.co.uk/news/843260-petrolhead-biker-banned-for-107mph-ride

'This figure - 107 in a 40 - is completely off our scale. We don't even have a guideline for that. (It is) suitable only for a race track not for a public road.'

I speed by all means and have been let of on occasions doing 60ish in 50s or simular.....
