Well I have finally got my leg out of plaster and can nearly walk without crutches. I am now considering testing bikes next week - but my number one choice (Triumph Daytona 600) I have now been told by the dealers is out of production and the new one won't be along till March!!!!

Well if Danny comes through with a good insurance quote I may just go and buy one of the two yellow ones from my local dealer!!

Have any of you noticed 'umph dealers near you packed to the rafters with Daytona 6's??

This thread links to a 600 Daytona website after T595.net. The Posts on the 600 Daytona website have been edited at the request of Triumph! Shocked

There is a HUGE dealer meeting that has been organised for the twentieth of september, and whatever happens there, its gonna be BIG! Bigger than a big thing that has been shot with Professor Frinks Re-Bigulator!

Triumph Rock Baby! Cool

Thanks guys. Steve I must have already read your road test (I rated it after all!!!) but I don't remember! Very useful!

MarJay - very interesting, poses a problem though. I'm going to be away with work for a couple of months (most of the end of the year TBH) so do I get a Daytona now and have it waiting in the garage as the new one comes out or get another SV650 and chop it in for the new D650.

Nice problem to have though Smile

Get a C90 and then keep the D650 for best and use the C90 for winter! Laughing

Or buy a cheap off roader for the winter...

If the rumours are true (and the guy on the Daytona 6 forum claims to have seen an example of a Triumph brochure... )

Then I don't know what I will do! Very Happy Cool

Laughing

And my grandmother told me 40 years ago. Dear...if you ever buy a bike, just do like your grandad. Get yourself a Triumph!

Probably worth having a cheaper bike to get you back into it a bit (presuming you like riding the bike as well as looking at it Smile.)

That way you're not worrying about crashing all the time etc.
