turn your head down and to one side, then down and to the other.

Sometimes the spray thrown up by wagons is too much for anything usefull other than getting past the bugger as soon as you safely can. Don't be afraid to use the fast lane to pass them leaving yourself a full clear lane between you and the truck. Otherwise, hang well back and wait for a good gap of clear road, pull out into the next lane, focus on the point where you want to be after you have passed the wagon and just punch through. As soon as you have passed it, tilt your head to allow the spray to run off your visor. It helps to adopt a 'Racing crouch' as you break through the curtain of spray to minimise buffeting.
The key point is to keep looking at where you want to be and not get distracted by the water spraying up from the wheels. This will ensure you go in a straight line through the point where you can see feck-all. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I just did a stint on the A40 on the way home from Brunel Uni - there was almost ZERO visibility due to the spray. Glasses fogged up, visor was flooded. Being on a 125, this meant that i couldn't get clear of the traffic so it made matters worse. Other than waht stinkywheely suggested (and what i did), find a nice Hein Gerike shop on the way which will let u stay, Cheers @ guys at Kenton HG. Or having failed that, an underpass if things really get worse. My waterproof jacket was saturated, as were my jeans and boots Rant over ! ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1
