Well if its that nice this wk end, then ill probably have no excuse to drag my zx6 out of the garage and get it sorted. Only prob is, that although i laid it up 4 winter, it aint been started since november, and its probably gonna take me all wk end to get it going! Crying or Very sad
I should know better, but ive been spending too much time farting around on my speedfight, or else fitting bits and doing mods to it. Help! i may have turned into a scooter freak, lol.

When I looked at the weather on TV this morning it forecast rain for the south on Sunday. Evil or Very Mad

Then again it was ITV and they're always wrong..... Wink

If the weather holds and I'm awake (got an 18th b/day party to go to sat night) I'll be there.

If the weathers nice and I'm not doing anything (or recovering from too serious a hangover) I might come down,
Obviously I'll be riding something like
<----- that

Hi Luke,
Put it this way mate, there was nothin wrong with it before i put it away, in november. But i got a feeling that leaving it so long without even running the motor wont do it any favours. Im off to my dealer in the morning on my scoot, to get a new oil filter, some sikolene pro4 (must remember that its 4 stroke oil im buying!) and i need a tool to take off the old filter. My battery is charged, so hopefully all i need to do is clean it, check the brakes are ok, lube the chain etc, and do an oil change. With a bit of luck i might even be out on it this wk end! It might feel strange though going back to 110bhp after 6months with an 9bhp scooter, yikes!

My advice is if you can then use your bike all year round, as im sure its better for them than leaving them to gather dust in the garage. Now can anyone tell me how this gear changing thing works?
