I can't believe it, I ride to college on my NSR most days, and I check the bike every couple fo lessons. I get on the bike at the end of the day and the front tyre was completely flat! Evil or Very Mad

Obviously I was very pissed off and I think the scooter lot (nothing against all scooters btw) did it. They always glare at me when I come in and I am outnumbered by annoying little 50s. Theres 3 'bikes' at college and about 10 scooters, so I'm not sure what to do. If I find out who it was i really feel like slashing their tyres, but then I wont!

Me too nice!

Anyway, I got the bike home, got a footpump brought to college and was late for work, so I had a great day yesterday!

Can you get exploding dustcaps that blow tamperer's fingers off? Twisted Evil

Before going blaming them (or anyone else) do you actually have any reason to suspect them other than the fact they always look at you when you come into college? If you do find out who it is if you slash their tyres then I'd expect to find your slashed (and probably other damage as well) so it's not really worth it.

Only thing I can suggest is leave the bike somewhere where it is in view for of people more often as that way it's less likely to happen again.

I also wouldn't go asking the ped boi's if it was them until you have a reason to suspect them other than they're ped boi's. If you go and ask them if it was them then that'll piss them off, might be worth asking them if they saw anything and to be careful themselves and keep an eye out as I assume bikes and ped's park together.

Oh yeah, I'd expect this thread will get moved to general bike chat, as it's neither a fight or a flame war.

Put super glue on the outside of your valvecaps, then all you have to do is look for someone with a valvecap stuck to his/her finger. Mr. Green Mr. Green

Lol yeah that would do it Laughing

You can get metal dustcaps,I worked in a tyre place for a while and I believe they called them high pressure valve caps or something like that, they are mainly used on trucks and they have a hexagon head on them so you can do them up with a spanner, just pop into ATS or someplace similar and see if you can buy a couple, they may even give them to you if you're lucky, they also come in different colours too so they can look pretty cool Cool

Oh and don't do them up too tight or you'll never get the buggers back off, just over hand tight will do that'll stop any little shit removing them and farting about with your pressures Thumbs Up

I've brought lockable caps off ebay now, so that 'should' stop them!
