Another Call of Duty on the way

To be honest today I stupidly downloaded the map pack for MW3 and later found out that to play them in their own play list you have to be an Elite member which I'm not so I had to play the normal play list and so far I have only played 2 new maps. I got bored and switched back to BF3.

However I do sometimes feel like playing MW1/MW2 and even Black Ops. I even wish I'd never got rid of WaW! But MW3 sucks so I'm not as excited for the new one as I usually am.

Looking forward to Halo 4 but even that is not made by Bungie so I'm not sure

I won't be downloading the MW3 map packs as I have the platinum trophy.
Fucked up with BF3 though, bought it second hand without knowing about the one off usage of the online code. Had to buy another code through PSN, £8.

Last one I purchased was Black ops, got bored quickly as I realised I was pretty much playing the same game as the previous ones.

Cod 4 Modern Warfare was and still is my favourite out of the series, any mates that have World At War only want to play zombies and that got boring pretty quickly.

Really hope they can turn around the direction for the call of duty series, more likely that it'll die a nasty death though.

I thought Blacks Op was alright, MW3 is awful though, can't stand it. May try out Black Ops 2 but never again will I try another MW game. I will be truely happy when DICE make Bad Company 3

Main thing I'm looking forward to is minecraft on xbox 360

I don't get why anyone would want to play MW after they've played BF3.

BF3 absolutely destroys MW3 in every way. Graphically, gameplay and audio pisses from a great height into MW3's open mouth.

I'm a huge fan of Bad Company 2, but not BF3, I never got into it, I suppose all the early bugs and exploits put me off for good. Whoever thought it was a good idea to include frag rounds for automatic shotguns needs sacking as well.

If you only played the beta then you need to play the full game! Plus they capped the graphics settings and a beta is exactly that, something to get some feedback from, not a finished game.

BF3 is pretty close to the perfect balance for me.

You dont have to play it for ages to find someone
Its not all close quarters
It can be pretty tactical (imagine good for clans matches)
Sound is great massive improvement

In saying that some things should just be removed.

Slightly better balance in weapons and i would like to see the options of having more armour but slowing you down and heavy weapons slowing you down more.

I'm still waiting to get MW3 just for the single player, love the story even though its a basic Hollywood story. Will purchase it when its below £10 including postage and packaging.

However not purchasing another Call of Duty game brand new unless they alter the direction. Never been much for the battlefield series, only had the first one and it annoyed me that I had to walk half the map just to get to the objective. The story was also basic and boring no actual thought process within the first battlefield.

Due to an annoyingly low Internet connection that varies every time someone is in the hallway multi player games are a put off for me anyway.

Bf3 is bad company 3 as far as I see it, it's definitely not battlefield.

I doubt I'll end up buying it. The first few were good and I enjoyed them but now it's the same game with a different skin. I loathe paying £40 for a game too (which is also the main reason I haven't bought Skyrim yet) so I tend to wait a few months after release to get them.
