Bridgestone BT45. They're pretty much the benchmark, never seen a bad word written about then (awaits correction.)
They are slightly dated now, but they're still being sold for a reason, they're good.
I know I'll be picking them when my Tyre wears down next ____________________ A2 Passed 18/6/10 |

Ive got a BT45 on the rear and a BT021 on the front.
Might seem odd, but it works for me ____________________ MBK Nitro 50, Sold. Kawasaki ER-5, Honda ST1100

Two sites can give you good prices:
https://moto-tyres.co.uk/
and
https://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/
Just search by size.
Go for Pirelli Sport Demon if you want grip over longevitity
Bridgestone BT45 are dual tread compound, so softer in the edges and harder in the middle. Good allrounder
Michelin Pilot Activ is another good one, bit longer lasting than the BT45
Avon Roadriders will give the longest life.
The absolute cheapest are Vee Rubbers. The VRM249 can be had for less than £50. |
