So I was away for one night and normally something happens to at least one thing I own, but this time I arrive home to "the internet has stopped working". Of coarse it's been working fine for years but this particular night it's stopped. The router/modem has no power at all and it's proving difficult to break into it. The best I can hope for is an internal fuse gone. However if that fails it's just as easy to buy another.
Can anyone recommennd a reliable alternative to my linksys which was obsolete years ago? I'm currently on the netbook through my mobile which is painfully slow.
It has to be mega easy to set up (ive no idea how I got my mobile to do this Shocked ),built in wireless etc etc, money isn't really an issue but i have to be able to get it from the likes of Dabs or somewhere.
Make and models pretty please. I need to get back up and running asap.

Cheers F.S.

Blimey, nearly ordered the 4200 but realised it needs a modem as well. Aren't there any that are an all-in-one unit? Or which modem should I get with it?
It's actually the modem part thats gone south on me.

I'm only on normal telephone connection if that helps.

BTW Cansa it better be a simple set up or you may have to visit sunny lancs again. Wink Laughing

There is a "retard cd" included in the box which sets everything up for you.
you just need to enter stuff like "wifi name" and your adsl login details.

Oh no you don't. What about VPI's and VCI's and multiplexing and all sorts of stuff I've done. Then go into set up and put in special things there as well.
