I think OCC have been outdone by PJD recently but I wish I could build things like either of them. They build what their customers ask for. If I was throwing in excess of $100K at a chopper and it wasn't what I wanted I wouldn't order it, so in theory they musyt be doing something right.

All you need is a couple of decent fabricators on the payrol and a local bolt on chop shop for parts. Believe me, it aint rocket science, the frames are bought in already built as are the motors and suspension. OCC could run fine, (if not better), without either Tuttle, the only thing they add to the equation at the moment is celebrity status.

Most OCC bikes seem to be built for shiney-arsed corporate types that know zilch about bikes in the first place. I think they'd be happy with anything.

This one has to be the worse though, and adding some nylon webbing just made it twenty times worse Rolling Eyes

The most hilarious part of OCC has the be seniors upper body/leg size ratio, it cracks me up every time Laughing

As I saw on a body builders forum the other day when trying to find out more about his steroid abuse - "...call the police - someone stole his legs"! Laughing

I used to enjoy OCC way back when, they seemed to know quite a bit about fabrication and working with different metals, nice paint jobs etc.
Now, the whole thing is a joke. They build about 1 bike every 10 episodes and the whole show is just about watching them argue. So, so boring.

I prefer watching Custom My Ride which is basically about the real West Coast Customs and the stuff they do, not the crap they make on Pimp my Ride. The owner of that place , Ryan, has done pretty damn well considering he started with $5000

OCC was funny for a while then it just got boring

Was watching an episode last night on the start of that horse bike (seriously?) and they were going on about how awesome they are and how they can build a better bike than PJD, but then they flick back to PJD who are making channel type ally frame from scratch.

I don't think PJD have made any ugly bikes up till now, and all the bits seem to be specifically made for the project, or never been used by them before, then you go over to OCC, chuck a generic frame up on the ramp, put the generic engine in, Rick builds a gas tank, they put a fender on it and that is about it, and they persist in putting that fucking awful rounded of triangle headlight on

i thought jesse was actually spot on with his comments. he should be in it more often, yet to see what he builds however. i know its re runs and the US had aired them already but still don't want to spoil it.

that horse bike was terrible, mind you the last few bikes occ had done this series were pants.

the 911 bike at PJD was great, where was the fuel tank put in the end, they never really spoke about it.
