Is there anywhere in Kent, Maidstone specifically I could buy a few 428 chain links. I bought a 100 link chain earlier this month and just got round to fitting it. its about 5 links too short so was looking to buy 10 links and make sure I have enough.

Its a split link one Thumbs Up

buy another chain, the cheapest you can find, same brand and shorten that?

You can buy split links on their own,but 1) I wouldn't do that and 2) they don't come in 'pairs' of links

Cheapest one I can find is the same one I have Laughing I only want a few links to pass MOT and do the May day run then I'll probably end up buying a newer chain of an actual make rather than this thing from the Czech Republic Laughing

Man up and just wire the ends together. It'll probably be OK as long as wire's short enough that both ends of the chain can be on the front sprocket at the same time. Thumbs Up

It appears I have a 428 chain in a bucket of oil Laughing Forgot about that.

Hmm... to use or not to use.
