Hi,
Am i correct in thinking:
If a tyre doesnt have "Not for road use" on it, then its ok. Also, it doesnt have a speed rating, and doesnt state "high speed".
Road legal?

Sorry sir
Ok, got some rims and tyres, im thinking of swapping onto the bike trailer. The normal ones are well past being safe.
The wheels are from an ATV, so good n wide. They are NOT marked re. Road use, but have no speed rating. They have load and PSI.
My understanding is, as they dont say "Not for road use", then i CAN use them on the road.
They dont have a speed rating. I dont want them to explode through me going to fast. I have seen 'High speed' tyres suitable for trailers, and ones the same sizes, but with 'Slow speed Only' IE wheelbarrows and the like.

Trailers can't be pulled faster than 60MPH or use the third lane etc.
I use a folding trailer which came with tyres which are much like those fitted to a wheelbarrow now you mention it (They look like they are made out of melted down elastic bands too.). I don't think there is a speed rating or NFRU mark on these OEM tyres.
https://www.motolug.com/index.php this is the outfit they could tell you if you call them. Or a tyre specialists would say.
I think trailer tyres can cost about 30/40 earth pounds.
It's not a thing you would easily get a straight answer to on here as there are many factors involved. Rating, Speed, Loading, Suspension/Non Suspension trailer.
You could run them and check they do not get too hot. If you find they begin to smoke or get sticky then they are no use and may blow out.
ps You can stay at the back of the class if you want now Timothy.
EDIT PONY
Go here I forgot I had some info from this site. Seems legit.
