...

However, if genuine, you've pretty much answered your own question, as in do the opposite of what you did!

Don't act due to waiting traffic behind, but DO look properly before pulling out.

Yeah, MTFU and look where your going. Don't let other motorists pressure you into doing something you dont want to. Ride at your own pace, screw everybody else.

You will crash one day, it will hurt. Bones will break and internal organs will get damaged causing you time in hospital, if you are lucky you will live and not die.
If you are not prepared to get hurt give up bikes now.

To be honest thats a lot of milage to cover in the first 2 days of riding. You need to take it slow and think about what your doing. Stick to places you know.

Dont let other drivers pressure you into going faster. When i started riding i would try to go 60 on every nsl road just because the cars would. Now i just take my time and make everyone wait, or let them pass.

Stick to some local roads for a couple of days and build your confidence back.

Lesson learnt, don't do fuck all unless your safe to do it no matter how much of a traffic jam it causes. Get back on the bike ride a few quiet roads, take a little run on some b roads until you build your confidence up. A 60 mile round trip on a 125 for a bag of chips used to be the norm for me when I started riding...

Wish i could be arsed to do that. Id have my license by now Laughing

You could also try going for rides with other people. I found that riding with my brother helped me at first as you always know whos in front/ behind you and that someone is there to sort of watch you.

+1 on that, I hated riding with others when I started trying to ride using someone else's judgements can get you into all kinds of shite.

It did help loads with my test though, a days training before my test an I pissed it even though the radio died and I couldn't hear the tester for a bit of it...

best thing you can do is to get right back on the bike and get on with it, longer you are off it the worse it will be getting back on.

don't let other road users pressure you into any situation that puts you in danger.

T'is the new bots. They just repeat something from another poster.

As said, don't let other people push you around on the road. Stick to centre-right of your lane to avoid letting them pass.

Like training a dog, be confident and the cars will sense you as the alpha dog and follow you. Some dogs do bite so prepare yourself, but don't give that nervous energy because the cars behind you can wait behind or on your side. Never let them go infront and take that alpha role.

Yeah dude, take your time and dont rush roundabouts! Sometimes it takes ages to go over a roundabout no matter how many years of driving/riding experiance you have as some are just constant flow of traffic coming from the right and theres nothing you can do about it, fuck other road users if their getting eggy, fuck em all.
What does annoy me though is that most people dont know that you have to give way to the people on the right at a roundabout and some fuckers dont even know what lane to go in to go right/left whatever, these fuckers should have to sit a test every 2-3 years.

\I only started riding few days ago and I have realy enjoyed it I done over 130 miles in my first 2 days, this was my first time on a realy busy road, It was like 5-6pm so there was alot of cars around and there was a roundabout ahead I stopped in my lane but there was alod of cars waiting behind me which kind of pressured me to move onto the roundabout faster and I started to get confused, I entered the roundabout without looking properly pulling out infront of a car thought he was going to hit me but he stopped in time now I am to scared to go back out because I have lost confidence and am afraid of damaging my bike anyone got any advice for me?

Heh, I did over 100 just getting my SR home, never having rode a geared bike before, on roads I didn't know. Best weekend of my life.

Despite my experiences OP, Ayrton is right. Play it safe, because it won't be the car driver on the way to hospital; it'll be you. Don't take risks and don't go fast just because you can if you don't feel confident in being able to stop suddenly. Most importantly take it seriously; motorbikes are dangerous, more so when other drivers are involved.
