I didn't realise it was coming round already!

I watched the film on the tt yesterday, epic.

I really hope Guy gets a good finish.

Thumbs Up

Once I have my full licence I will definately be making the trip, so probably next year. Smile

Early crash protection maybe is for the newer riders who no doubt will be doing a fare few miles trying to remember course and road surface

Suppose to many deaths before its even started is bad publicity, that and or general precautions..

Or just getting a really big event ready? These things take time Rolling Eyes

hear that the TT organisers are hoping to bring a 'TT world series' into action, a road racing event across several countries...fingers crossed this happens as it will mean a full year of road racing to watch...although i did read it in MCN Neutral

I bet no other man and his dog has thought about doing that seeing as Gixxers either have white or orange wheels as a rule. Laughing

apparently Oz and the middle east are interested in the idea, just need a few more countries to make it worthwhile i think. it's all to do with increasing the 'TT' as a brand to strengthen the economy on the IOM

Enjoy the MGP this year as it's looking like this may be the last year the event is run in it's current format. the IOM Government in it's wisdom are looking at dropping the modern classes which are over subscribed year on year and concentrating on the classic classes which in recent years have struggled to fill the grid.
Many of today's top TT riders competed at the Manx before 'graduating' to the TT. What effect this announcement will have on the Manx Grand Prix and ultimately the TT remains to be seen.

Not at the TT this year, planning ahead for next year. Went to the ManxGP last year so caught the bug for watching live road racing. Expensive doo traveling over, but it always help to have family that live near the college just off Glencrutchery Road (although my dear mother insists on phoning me every race/practice session just to hold up the phone and shout, "can you hear that?????", yes mum, that would be a motorcycle going quite fast that I can't see, thanks for that.). Having said all that, I did drop the ball in booking my summer holidays for TT fortnight, so I couldn't go even of I wanted too Crying or Very sad

Orange?? they havent used orange for about 10/11 years, all new and recent models are blue and older are black! White was used upto around '03 and ive certainly never seen another K7 with white wheels, have you?

There was talk of a TT near the borders of Scotland too, don't know that much about it but it would be great if it became a reality
