Hi
I just was wondering if anything will happen...
I have had a RD350ypvs in my flat for a long time ready to do up as a project... The project is not going to happen and I need the space so I have put it up on Ebay...
I have the log book but have not heard anything from DVLA about the bike and I have not Taxed it as it wasn't on the road... was just wondering when I send off the new details of the new owner am I going to get a nasty letter from those who care eg am I going to get a fine... The reason I want to sell it is because I am broke and don't need a fine....
ty in advance.... ____________________ https://justfuckinggoogleit.com/ |

If you get the letter, why worry? You did SORN it, remember?
Search Sickpup's thread on SORN for clarification of the above. ____________________ Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. |

The degree of ball-ache will be entirely down to the DVLA.
I got a demand for many years' VED from those mongs years after I'd sold on a kit car that I'd never SORNed, ignore it, then never heard anything else about it. Likewise, I got two blackmail demands from them last year for "not insured, not SORNed" on 2 bikes, which I also ignored, and which have also blown over.
So purely from my personal experience, I'd recommend against responding to any threats. A court summons would be the sign that you should take them seriously and fire up a sickpup defence. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
