I really want to have a go at taking my hornet around brands hatch but i have a throttle restrictor, my bike tops at about 100mph,

i dont know if it is worth doing. will be my first time around a tarmac track.

Some companies won't let you take it on track but others might. It's still worth doing mate as you can still have fun in the corners and benefit from doing it.

Hi

Brands is an MSV circuit and think they won't allow you to do a track day if you have a restricted licence.

All the best

Keith

It's not worth the risk but when I did Oulton and even now, My license card still has the restricted bit on it but the period has passed. It doesn't say anything on my card though just >25kW or something. I still got waved in Smile

Rockingham, Mallory park are both fine. All MSV tracks(Cadwell,Oulton,Brands,Snetterton do not allow 33bhp licence holders on a trackday even if you dont have your restrictor in!?

I doubt silverstone would either..

when i was on a restricted licence i contacted most tracks to get confirmation but i cant find the spreadsheet i created for it.

Lydden Hill looks good for a beginner on a track as not that big.

Lol mallory is a special place you dont even need license to ride round there. They do cbt courses on the circuit which allows non licenses holders on track.
