I was just wondering the amount of alchohol v drugs accidents on the road occured for bikers, and if we should have bigger campaigns to convince Britain not to drug drive because he only really seem to be targetting drink drivers/riders.

Well I think drink driving is much worse, apart from being drunk you can spill it and that can cause an accident. However, driving/riding whilst high;

    * No chance of spilling anything
    * you can have both hands on the wheel/handlebars
    * less road rage (everyone's your friend)
    * and if you crash into a house it won't hurt, 'cause they're only cartoon houses anyway

Easy for you to say. I’ve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

Just sayin'.

I never drimk and drive in the UK but I did a lot when I was in Thailand.... There was a lot of tourist that never ride a bike before and hired Scooters... It was a common site to see ppl with bandages...

I try not to ride Stoned as I got a slingshot which is not the easiest bike to ride... I get to paranoid and feel that everything is to fast...

Booze, pot, coke, MDMA and acid. 140+ on the acid, on my first Blade, no problemo. Laughing

It's not big or clever by the way, it just is.

Supply here is dry because of the police. However, I have ridden with an erection. Does that count?

You forgot the wheelie. Bad form. Laughing

I have ridden mildly stoned once (passive smoked) coming back from a mates down country roads, I overcooked a corner slightly and skimmed a car then just smiled it off to myself..

10 seconds later I thought it was funny but the next day recalling it I thought it was risky, being relaxed about an incident while riding a bike isn't clever. Never done it since.

Yes, a couple of times. I don't like the feeling really although I have rode after 2/3 pints and that felt worse.

I used to often risk it driving home after a few pints down the pub, between the ages of 18 and 23. I wasn't a danger, the fact I knew I'd had a few meant I'd be extremely careful on the road not to do anything wrong. I went in to a kind of driving test mode; loads of observations and driving really carefully. I had a scare once as well, pulled over and I knew I'd be pushing it with the breathaliser (4 pints, but consumed over the course of about 5 or 6 hours), but they didn't spot anything wrong and didn't give me one. That learnt me. I don't risk it any more because a drink driving conviction would be pretty devastating. You get a bit wiser when you get a bit older (or maybe you just get boring).

You have more to lose mainly I think.

If not for the fact it'd bugger up my chances of employment significantly, I could take a 2 year ban on the chin, I have no real need to drive or ride, it's just a bit more convenient / enjoyable.

I still wouldn't ride or drive under the influence because I'm not that sensible after a few at the best of times Very Happy

Mainly because that apart from straightline dragging on the acid I rode like an absolute pussy on anything I took that altered my state of awareness. I was actually stopped on the Blade, while on acid (a different occasion to the blats), because I was riding to the speed-limit and aroused the pig's suspicions. Laughing

Having said that, we used to ride like fucking maniacs in Japan, pissed out of our skulls.

Hm...I've just remembered the occasion of returning from an overnight party with Bonny, during which we were on acid and mandy, and racing a Subaru on the motorway while still twisted up to around 125mph (he pussied out).

Both times I rode the Blade on coke I had an awful fear/paranoia going on, no fun at all. Sick

Yeah, pretty hardcore. Hardcore stupidity. Though I temper that observation with a belief that I'm blessed with some kind of auto-pilot mechanism that allows me to retain pretty good control while mashed up. I drove a souped-up Mini from Brighton to Eastbourne one early morning, me and my brother gurgling like mongs on acid and pot and booze, and that was a very fine sensible-speed video-game experience. Laughing

We took the ripping piss, for decades, in three countries, and got away with it. Go figure. Though he's lost his licence three times and was nearly lynched in Thailand once. I have not a single point on mine. So far. Laughing

once I was stupid enough to ride through central london wankered on ketamine.

Whilst at the time it seemed like fun, and I can remember laughing my head off at the all the pretty colours, jelly baby pedestrians and cars with animal heads flying past, how I didn't die is a miracle.

Blame the dentist.
