Old noob, not technically new to biking but am on here! Riding since 1980 had a wee gap and last November mainly due to an optimistic purchase opportunity bought a CB1000 Project Big One.

I'm a driving instructor by trade so cant hoon it around, well I'm no knee slider thesedays anyway, if I put my knee out it would probably stay out and not come back in!

More into grunt accelaration thesedays just to get the M3 guys worried.

Love some of the banter here and there are always a few tips to be found.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

Yep the bike is a 92 model, speed converter fitted to remove the Jap 112mph top end restriction, it's the big brother of the 400 super four, I've ridden one of those amongst other things!

I think the 400 is better balanced overall, the Big One is just that rather large coming in at around 235kg but with my portly frame I aint gonna look right on much smaller!

They're just an old dinosaur of a bike thesedays but man they pull out of the bends like nothing else, I think they're just like straight line American muscle cars, takes a bit of getting over if it gets a little twisty!
