It's called the Fanny plant Vaginus Vulgaris.

Pop a finger in and lick it. Should taste of fanny.

Not 100% sure but it looks like it could be a giant hogweed.

Be careful if it is, cos the sap can "burn" your skin when it is exposed to sunlight. It's pretty nasty and might need specialist removal.

Probly the nearest thing to a real triffid actually!

It's definitely not a Hogweed, they're a tall succulent weed with huge leaves, and nigh on indestructible.

Amorphophallus (from Ancient Greek amorphos, "without form, misshapen" + phallos, "penis", referring to the shape of the prominent spadix)

It's a knobbly cock with leaves then

Should have been called nik-nakdickallus or something then

Also related to rhubarb, and new plants grow from a crown.......

However, the phallus pic does look pretty much like it!

But the hole in the middle there, it looks more like a chocolate starfish than a japs-eye.

From what I've read think yourself lucky you don't have one growing near your house.... supposed to smell like rotting meat to attract flies for pollination, also gives off heat if you are brave enough to get that close....

Anyway, when I posted the name of it and stuff the person was very greatful... unfortunately the ex mother-in-law is friends with the same person.... she said that I was right, then a couple of messages later she said I was wrong as they can't grow in America Confused so then she said HAD to be one of these:

https://www.wildmanstevebrill.com/JPEG%27S/Plant%20Web%20Images/SkunkCabbageFruitLabeled.jpghttps://img.photobucket.com/albums/v320/andy36586/strangeplant.jpg

But Mrs Know-It-Fuckin'-all was soon put in her place when the owner of the plant said that the ones she mentioned had been ruled out and that I was right Laughing
