Hi all, I have a 2011 ER6F and have been given a GIVI topbox and plate. its a monokey box... Can anyone help me with the cheapest fitting bars that would do the job please? I don't want to buy the kawasaki one as it seems to be more than others... the givi website confused me a little as it said the plates wouldn't fit on bike specific bars and I'd need to buy a new plate, but I may have gotten that wrong.

anyway, some links to one that'll work would be great!? thanks!!

Very Happy

This is what you need, comes with plate as well. Its a lot cheaper than the kwak one and easy to fit, takes about 20mins.

It should fit the 2011 but check with the seller first.

This might be a difficult one to get around Drew, modern bikes give very little latitude to use anything but a 'dedicated' carrier. I've got Kawasaki's own on my '07 (it came with the bike when I bought it).

Sorry to necro old posts but im looking for exactly the same - but a complete set ready to go arms / box 2011 ef6f cant seem to find any "cheaper" options that isn't going to cost the earth !!

A lot of them do not come with plates and this and that..

Think on my YBR and Varadero i managed a nice top box set up for around 70 quid now its like closer to 200 quid Shocked never see them come up on ebay either..

i've just got a renntec sports rack on my hornet and a givi plate bolted onto it for my givi box. Got the rack for £35 on ebay, I just make sure I don't overload it much but it seems pretty sturdy but obvioulsy not as sturdy as arms would be

The rack looks like a good idea. You'll still be able to put your old box on it, using the plate you already have

I'd have one, but I think my short OH will struggle to get on and off! Laughing
