Don't worry about it mate! You'll be fine! You have 50 minutes to do the 50 odd questions in so you have PLENTY of time! If there is a question that you don't understand then flag it up and then come back to it at the end! Smile

Hazard perception is easy as well mate, just remember to click every hazard twice (once, then again 1/2 second later to make sure you got it!), do that and you can't fail Smile

Good luck bro!

It's not difficult

Click once as soon as you see a developing hazard (e.g. a cyclist approaching a junction), click again very shortly afterwards when it looks like he's about to join without looking, and for good measure click once more as he does)

That click strategy has worked for me and it pretty much guarantees you don't score 0 points for any clip.

If you've got the hazard perception software as I'm guessing you have, then keep practicing that. Good luck.

It doesn't really work like that, the earlier you notice the hazard, the more points you get - you only REALLY have to click once - However the guys on here say twice just to Make sure you score highly on every clip. Smile

I did get a 0 on one of my clips - I got bored and started clicking both mouse buttons together and it came up with the little red X of doom - Don't do that Laughing

Have fun Wink

The quality was quite bad on some of them when I did mine.

The quality of the clips is awful, but on the other hand, the scoring seems to be a bit more generous than on the practice clips I did.

I found that I was clicking too early in most of the practice clips. The test is aimed at Johnny Noobmobile, and seems to punish you for actually being "aware" of hazards that are in the process of developing, rather than reacting to them after they've kicked off.

So definitely do a click-pause-click strategy to maximise your chances of hitting the scoring sweet spots. And try not to sweat it, you only need a pass, it doesn't matter how high it is.

If you're feeling ok with the test clips you'll be fine on the day. The actual vids are a bit slower so don't rush.

I found hazard perception to be very easy even though i was not too sure about it because the practice sessions kept failing me. Its the same for the motorcycle and the car i think.

I think playing computer games on a computer (not console) comes handy with HP. It went pretty good i got 70/75.

Theory questions are just about reading the highway code and practicing the nine hundred or bank of questions and you can pass that with ease.

There is more than enough time for the test. Relax, concentrate and if you are well prepared it goes alright.

Well done Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up , got my theory test on the 12th June. Hazard preception is what I'm not sure about, the theory test for cars hadn't long been brought in when I was learning to drive, there wasn't a hazard preception part so not sure what I'll make of it.

HPT part is just a computer game, buy a copy for a tenner & practice till you've mastered it. I found the real HTP a fair bit easier than the practice game.

When I took my driving test the theory part consisted of the examiner randomly flicking through a book of road signs that you had to identify.

If I recall I got seriously difficult stuff like a no-entry sign, a 'cattle' warning triangle etc.. After half a dozen of these I was seriously having trouble trying not to laugh.
