... and I passed! Mr. Green

Couldn't be happier, I thought I'd failed by about half way but in the end I only picked up 2 minors. CB 500 (33bhp) here I come! The examiner followed me in his car just like the other one did, do they do this whenever it rains? Pretty funny.

I've heard it before but I think it's worth mentioning, now my "Learning" can really begin! Very Happy

No, motorcycle examiners are also car examiners. If they have to do a car examination that day, they do all tests in a car, saves them having to keep getting changed, or sitting in their bike gear during the car test.

I asked my examiner, as he rode on the bike, yet another test left before me which had a different examiner who went in a car.

And congratulations on passing Thumbs Up

Nice one.

My examiner pussied out and took a car on my 2nd go at Mod 2. I found the car a lot less distracting, I failed the first one because I was paying too much attention to the bike behind me. Very Happy

Thanks guys!

datcrazybwoi you'll be fine, just ask the examiner to call you by that name and you'll find the whole test a lot less stressful! Razz

Good luck to Joe as well. First/second/third time luck for the win! It's all good Very Happy

The main things they like to test you with (I found) are:

-20mph limits
-one way streets
-spiral roundabouts
-stop signs/junctions with poor visability
and many more!

Even if you think you've failed just relax and carry on, I was convinced I was done for and as we walked back to the centre he just said "This is the end of the the test, and I'm pleased to say.." The grin appeared instantly! Last time I was sat down in a chair and told the bad news, totally different feeling
Good luck, you can do it Smile

Well done! Thumbs Up Mr. Green

Did my test in similar weather and passed (3rd time lucky).

My mate had my examiner for his car test, so not sure if they're all multi-trade.

They always seem to ride quite a big bike as well.
Mine was on a white pan euro. Felt slightly intimidating seeing it in the mirrors all the time. Laughing
Ah, the DSA and their mind games. Rolling Eyes

I'm led to believe they are. That's the reason my instructor didn't want to become a bike examiner, because he'd have to become a car instructor and then car examiner before he could.
