A friend had one of those, but he dropped it and the mercury spilt all over the place. We ended up using my dial vacuum gauges in a lot less time than it took my friend to even begin to set his ones up even before they were connected to the bike.

I got a set of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carb-Balance-4-Cyclinder-Vacuum-Gauge-VGA4-/290700542683?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item43af1a42db#ht_2146wt_1037

Work great, easy to use as well, much better than letting a garage do it for £100 a pop!

I had a set of them, they are fucking shit.
Upgraded to some red plated things that cost a damn sight more and they worked great and the rubber lasted more than 4 months and didn't give false readings.
