125 2T

Are they roughly,

A lot lighter and thinner ...

Require how much more frequent adjustment.

Will fit standard renthal sprockets.

Miles is not an issue, do about 200/300 est a month.

i have heard of a few people that have had the chain conversions done (chain + sprockets), but there is really very little noticable advantage to it.

are you attempting to reduce weight?

He should somewhere other than the chain Laughing

You need to buck the fuck up and do your test, buy a litre bike.

Seriously, your poor 125 is near the end of it life.

Reduce weight, mainly to increase the gap between chain and tyre, or may go back to 150 tyre ..... Looking at options rather than diving in, also getting cotton reels fitted Moro, so can start doing chain tension with rear up and true.

what tyre size are you currently running on?
remembering that increasing the width at the rear will slow down initial turn in to a corner.

personally i would vouch for going back to a 150 rear, and changing rear sprocket to one with a couple extra teeth for some more punch, quicker steering.

Why don't you do your test instead of throwing money at a 125?

Or fit a purple powerband, they're the fastest.

A CB500 or CB-1 would be marginally more expensive, much more fun and far more capable.
