Any chance any of you guys could spare a few minutes to complete a survey for my other half (though only those aged 18-30 and 40-55)?

It's NOT bike related, and should only take 5 minutes, the survey is based on Body Image Perceptions and Media Influences, this will be used for research for thesis in Masters of Psychology.

Thanks for taking the time out if you do help Karma for all!

I hope, in the final analysis, that there'll be a "Couldn't give a fcuk about body image category", otherwise my data is useless! Laughing

Done, but only because I'm interested in the results, I expect you to post at least an abstract once she's finished.

I believe it was something to do with the ethics of the research and gaining access to schools, and application process would take far too long, and there's a lot of research in that age range already.

From what I know it's an interesting study which will be seen later, bit of a give away otherwise for the time being.

Very slightly seriously, there's no room in a body image survey for asking "How would you describe your gender / ethnicity"? Wink

I don't fit inside the age groups.... Too old to be pretty, too young to be ugly...

Is there a reason that those of us enjoying our second-twenties are excluded?

20. How important to you is your ARMS compared to other things in your life? *This question is required
Extremely importan

My arms are pretty important to me Laughing

Conclusions will likely be the obvious; men care about shoulders, arms, and their chest, women care about their chest, their legs, their hips, their arse

Her supervisor said she needed to use 2 age groups, with a distinct gap between them for comparison, so could not use 2 age groups that roll into each other

Done. Also wouldn't mind reading the abstract, once she's sorted the results.

I found some of the questions to be repetitious, since the answer to some can usually be inferred from the answer to the previous question. Either way, it was distinctly better-written than the majority of such questionnaires, so no complaints here.
