Hi all
My divvy 600 (97)is fast approaching 40,000 mls on the clock but running sweet as a nut.Have had a few people say the engines only good for 50,000 before problems start to come in there droves. This concerns me as i'm now thinking i have to change the bike before it starts costing to much to keep going. Is there any truth in this or will it be good for a lot more mileage yet..Cheers for any input guys

Keep it maintained, don't abuse it, fix when you need to. It's in a soft state of tune, air cooled, easy to work on - I'd think the bodywork/bearings/suspension will go before the engine does
Even if everything got lunched a replacement engine with 21k on the clock is £200 :- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-XJ600-Diversion-92-engine-good-condition-12923-/350474841585?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5199edadf1 ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you.
