I have seen a 2006 model Kawasaki Z750S.

Just wondered if anyone had owned or has one and what your opinions are?

Cheers Very Happy

They have a reputation, much like the Bandit for being great all round bikes with disappointing suspension. I'd try and find a used example with the suspension already upgraded.

Had one since new for nearly 6 years, great bike.

The only thing like the above poster is the shock change, I changed mine for a Hagon.

It's plenty quick I have no problems keeping up with the usual 6rs r6s on the road.

I really like the half faired look where you see the engine, but then from the front it's faired.

The current state of my ZZR below. Maybe the 750 would be a logical progression. Razz I'm seriously looking forward to having no restriction in March and FINALLY a years no claims, so I can have my choice (within reason) of bikes. The ZZR is a good all rounder but isn't particularly suited to my riding style...I want a light bike with proper clip-ons!

I had an '04 Z750, but the naked model. Pretty much agree with what's been said.

The shock is not great but not awful either. Handles nicely, until you hit bumps of any kind. Can get a bit hairy leaned over, and is a bit of a spine shaker when upright. But to be honest it's totally bearable.

A word to the wise though, the clutch cover etc is made of cheese. If you think you're likely to crash, and the bike's the only transport you have, keep spares.

Had an off at about 1-5mph pulling out of a side road and it shredded all the lower casings on one side. That was a fun wait for parts.
