Driving down portsdown hill road in hampshire then some dick taxi driver decides to pull out of a road right infront of me, i slam on the anchors (no lock up luckaly) realised i wasnt gonne stop in time so i had to swerve to miss him, that put me into the other lane but luckaly there wasnt anything coming the other way or id be brown bread, the bike started to wobble thought i was gonna loose it but some reason slammed my foot down which got the bike in control again (how this worked and why i did it i dont know) and ended up stopping inches from going up the curb, all this happened without me really thinking if that makes sense, its like my brain took over and instantly saved my life, it happen so quickly but yet so slowly. Then the taxi driver decided to have a go at me and said i was speeding etc, but the guy behind me said i wasnt speeding at all and i know i wasnt. then he just drove off! Luckaly i have 2 witnesses, one a very nice chap who chased after him to get he's reg as i think everyone was a bit shcoked/confused to get it when he was having a go.
Didnt get he's reg but got he's taxi number and the taxi company name... Fuck me im lucky to be alive right now!
Ive phoned the police, given them all the details and witness numbers so hopefully the bloke will get a royal fucking, but not sure if he will just get a slap on the wrist? It was so weird, i was so calm when avoiding the taxi, very weird.

Nice one.

It will become second nature to spot and avoid these idiots.

You'll even learn to spot the really determined ones that shouldn't even be allowed a bus pass

I;d be surprised if anything comes of it.

Well done on reacting though. As said, soon you'll become more attuned in spotting these t0ssers before they commit.

Not to sure, it was all a bit confusing, where you take the mini roundabout at bedhampton road into portsdown hill road it was one of the turnings just down the road there, beverly groove perhaps, that end of portsdown hill anyways, guys a cunt.

Kick off or laugh it off, Plod won't give a damn about an accident that didn't happen.

Bummer. Pretty open road as well. Aquacars do seem to be knobs at driving though.

I lived in Portsmouth and Gosport for a couple of years and can quite honestly say that the vast majority of 'Aquacars' I saw on the road were being driven in an atrocious manner.

If I were you, I call their HQ and lodge an official complaint against the driver.

Yeah fair play, i didnt think there was alot of point in reporting it but then i thought perhaps even if the copper has a word with him or he gets a phonecall he may be a bit more carefull next time when pulling out etc tahts if they even bother to follow it up, but the lady on the phone sounded very serious. The guy did nearly cause me serious injury and i could of gone straight under a tractor that was coming the other way if it was a few yards closer.

Glad you came out OK. I had a similar one on Friday, except it was a post office van. Tell-tale bar high scrapes on the side suggested it wasn't the first time.

You'll probably see him and his motor again parked up somewhere and when you do, just remove the drivers door mirror with your foot as you go past. Thumbs Up

This is one of them post that reinforces helmet camera's. I have one and use it a lot. You will be surprised how much room you are given once a driver see it stuck on the lid.

I must one day put some picture's up and show you just how easy they are to use.

Taxi drivers can be assholes, many years ago one decided to storm out of his cab & yank my (landrovers) driver door open and have a go at me. Then he noticed the S&W model 686 .357 I had in my left hand and fucked off.
