Ok so im new to this forum. To be fair this forum has helped a lot and has got some interesting threads. I was quite impressed.
Anyway a bit of info on me. I'm 25 and own a GSXR 750 SRAD.
When i was younger did my CBT and rode around for a year one a 50cc. Shortly after got my car license and moved aboard. Being aboard didn't need a bike license to ride so was constantly riding.
Recently moved back to the UK so now sorting out my license. This is my plan so far.
Tomorrow got my theory all going well should pass but standby tomorrow for the result.

CBT is book for sunday the 3rd of june.

After that im in 2 minds to do one of the DAS courses for £500-700
Or risk it and book the MOD 1 and MOD 2 myself and use my own bike for the fee of £90 all in. My bike will be insured and will be taxed and a friend of mine has said he will drive my bike there for me. So thats all sorted.

What are everyones thoughts? which way is the best? which way worked for you? Personal experiences very welcome.

You'll be caning the Gixxer around 5 minutes after you pass, so you better be safe enough on it to pass a test.

Yea im quite a relaxed rider well i was aboard in the UK unsure. Only got the GSXR for that need for extra speed when need. However dont quote me on this it can all change. Safety wise i can handle the bike and know what the bike rides like and what it dont likes etc.

I guess you know you're own ability, maybe doing a course might not be a bad idea in case you've picked up any habits that might go against you (?) Not suggesting you have any btw. Wink If you're confident then it could be money wasted, personally I think a trainig course offers alot. Not to just pass the test but safer riding as well.

On your MOD1, make sure when you park it first off, that you go to the 'bay' on the right. It's a damn sight easier to simply reverse it all the way round to the left 'bay' than have to do a 3 point whith it.

Congrats on the theory, good luck on the CBT. Sounds like you should walk it. Thumbs Up
